I'm a Lincolnshire wedding photographer and family photographer based in the heart of Lincoln. You hear this a lot from photographers, and it's a bit of a cliche, but my love of photography really did start when my Dad bought a camera, got a bit serious about it all, and spread the love of photography to me!
I eventually started to submit my photos to magazines - plenty of rejections followed until that magical day when I had my first photo published. And I got paid for it! I really wanted to go to art college, but somehow, and I still have no real idea how it happened, I ended up in the corporate world.

You see, it's quite difficult for me because I've never sat down and thought to myself, 'I know, I'll call myself a reportage wedding photographer, a portrait photographer, a documentary wedding photographer, an alternative wedding photographer, or a classic family photographer, or even a good old traditional photographer'!
I love photographing weddings, and I love photographing people in love, having the time of their lives with the people they love! I promise not to overwhelm you with a confusing set of prices. I have three collections available for you, depending on your requirements, but these can be customised if required. Most people find that it really helps to meet with me to meet to go through the options available. That way, you are able to look at the albums available, look at examples of my work, and we can go through the collections together.

Around one week after your portrait session, we'll organise the really exciting bit - seeing your photos for the first time! Your viewing session is in the comfort of your own home where you decide which photographs are your favourites and how you would like to display them - whether as wall art, in an album, or as a set of fine art mounted prints.

Patrick at Natural Expressions was extremely professional and personable with completely natural photography. We loved how bright and colourful all of Patricks imagery is and for our Wedding Day this was just beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Patrick came to our Wedding of just 10 people and he made it so much fun and easy with zero stress or pressure. I would definitely recommend Patrick and his professional talent!

Patrick is a consummate professional. Really friendly and good humoured which is a god send when you’re nervous about having your headshots done! He made the session fun and relaxing and this in turn resulted in some really stunning photographs that my very self-critical son is actually happy with! I should also add that he has had a great response from casting directors since using the photographs. Thank you Patrick. We will certainly be booking with you again.

Really impressed with both the process and the outcome. I never like photos that people take of me but I liked - and I mean really liked - so many of the ones Patrick took. I really don't know how he did it (but it did have something to do with Olly Murs. Ask Patrick what that was!)

Having worked with Patrick over a number of years I can honestly say that I've never been disappointed with his quality of work. His attitude, creativity, knowledge and work ethic are all top notch...He's quite happy to work by himself or within a team situation and when the job's completed his delivery of images is efficient and well processed. To cap it all off, he's a bloody nice chap too!

Patrick was the photographer at a friend's wedding a few years ago and I was immediately taken with his style when I saw their album. I looked at more of his work on his website and followed him on FB and knew I wanted to organise a session with him to take some photos of my nieces because his portraits are full of character and beautifully composed.

We used Patrick for our wedding in 2016, and most recently for the Christmas offer. I think that he has a fantastic way about him - when he needs to be invisible he is, and when he can't be invisible he is very good at working with you, pointing you in the right direction and being incredibly patient when you forget to do what he says!
