RLT Engineering Consultants are civil and structural engineering consultants based in offices in Colchester, Essex. Our core work is to provide civil and structural engineering design services to the residential and commercial development industry throughout the UK. Our teams, headed by chartered engineers, undertake projects throughout East Anglia, Outer and Central London, the Midlands, the South-East and the West Country.
In this ever-changing world of environmental and climate change awareness and constantly evolving statutory requirements for Sustainable Urban Drainage designs (SUD's), we prepare Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies to embrace all the demanding requirements of modern infrastructure design.
We undertake the Civil and Structural design of medium to large residential and commercial developments requiring close coordination with the client, architect and M&E consultant and incorporating the latest finite element structural design software and our engineers and technicians are well-versed in the existing and emerging Eurocode requirements for multi-storey structural design.
As we are accredited under the ISO 9001:2015-Quality Management Regulations, we are constantly reviewing our policies and workflows to ensure, consistency, robustness and efficiency of the implementation of our design services. Our accreditation is assessed annually.
All our projects are assessed under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) and appropriate risk assessments are produced to focus on hazard identification.We are also part of the Safemark Competency Accreditation Service as administered by the NHBC and assessed annually.
