We really are the perfect place to enjoy everything that Whitby has to offer.
Strictly no bookings will be taken for hen/stag parties, flouting of this rule will result on arrival of your deposit being lost. However we have great facilities for walking, golfing or cycling groups please call for packages. Please note that a reservation is a legally binding contract and on confirming the booking a non refundable deposit will be taken.

The Sandbeck in Whitby has 23 well furnished, bright and clean hotel bedrooms, of which 17 have sea views. At the Sandbeck, Whitby size doesn't matter. Even in our most intimate rooms you get a traditional double bed with plenty of space to move around and a lot of contemporary flair and personality.

Love it! Stayed here several times now with family and then my girlfriend. The double rooms are great with a seaview and well stocked with a fridge, kettle and the usual biscuits etc. There's an honesty bar downstairs should you want a drink or anything else. Breakfast is great every day and the staff are always really nice. I'll be going back again and again...

I've stayed at the Sandbeck each year since 2008, this now being my ninth stay. It's very homely and comfortable, and all but once had the same single room, of which there are two, and both are overlooking the sea. Good choice of food for breakfast, whether it be full English or continental. Staff are very friendly too, especially Kay, who runs the Sandbeck, and she always has time to spend for a chat!

Great room 6 absolutly fantastic view of the sea probably one of the best rooms for the view and very clean crisp white room with a beautiful shower and a separate little sitting area for a cup of tea etcwith the view of the sea and provided is a kettle fridge and great space
The staff were very helpful providing us with a parking permit for the night to keep the council away lol ...and keys were given before the room was finished but we kept to the times and were welcomed in at 2pm
