We are a friendly village club located in the heart of the Vale of Glamorgan and no more than a 10 minute drive from the M4 and 15 minutes from the centre of Cardiff. Our 18-hole course offers a challenging test for golfers of all abilities and ages. While it is only 5595 yards in length (5031 yards for ladies), the design rewards distance control and accurate iron shots.

Taking the opportunity to play here will also give you the chance to enjoy the stunning South Wales scenery to the north and west, as well as views South over the Bristol Channel to the Devon coast. The course is open all year round due to superb natural drainage. When you have finished your round you will find a warm welcome on the clubhouse terrace and in our two bars.
Services
Between these two dates the Steering Committee with its willing assistants, amateur and professional, organised one hundred and fifty gentlemen and fifty ladies into a Club and converted Highwalls Farm into a golf course. It was the availability of 38 acres of land at the farm that provided the spur for that initial formation meeting.
Established in 1914, Dinas Powis is a beautiful but challenging parkland course which borders ancient woodlands and farmland with stunning views of the Vale of Glamorgan and over the Bristol Channel into Devon. The course has superb natural drainage offering golf all year round and after completion of your round you are guaranteed a friendly atmosphere in the clubhouse.

Established in 1914, Dinas Powis is a beautiful but challenging parkland course which borders ancient woodlands with stunning views of the Vale of Glamorgan and over the Bristol Channel into Devon. The course has dramatic views over the Bristol Channel, Penarth and Barry and countryside to the north east.
Big hitters can drive the 1st green, however if you find yourself to the left of the green then you are left with very little green to work with and an extremely hard approach. Try to avoid the quarry on the right hand side of the fairway right within driving distance. If you hit the fairway off the tee.you have a shot to the green.

Most unlikely approach but upon arrival a little gem. Lovely greens and fairway turf, a fair course thats in front of you.....until the 7th good luck there. The par 3s are the courses defence they can bite, hard.

Horrible staff - really rude and have no manners what’s so ever , firstly the price is way to high - food quality is more like 1 star quality and the staff deserve no star - they are so understaffed it’s ridiculous and the only saff I liked was at the bar a girl who was doing a trail shift and she was really pleasant and kind and really cared about the experience you had - I would suggest people stay away from this please - better of making ur own dinners as they would be better than this place - the owner who is called Micheal disgraceful manner - I have never met someone so rude and arrogant

Had a great night for my Mums 90th birthday. The food was amazing and the chef and his staff couldn't do enough for us, including putting on the karaoke. It's a shame that he has been given a months notice.

I have been to the golf club for lunch with friends. Must say wasn't too bad. I would say please book before you go as it gets very busy. Staff were run off their feet but were great.
