The owner had instantly given me a lot of attitude, was absolutely mean and nasty. I had been misinformed by my travel agency as to the time of check in and that the hotel/place I was staying could keep my bags and I could come back when my room was ready. Instead of being kind and understanding about the miscommunication he was condescending and mean. I had no reservation according to him but my travel agency said otherwise. Once he heard I was from America he said some smart comment under his breath. An absolutely horrible experience.

Have had an absolutely traumatising experience. Booked through booking.com.
The check in time is mentioned as 4 pm, and as is standard practice, we hoped to leave our luggage there earlier so we could still enjoy our day. We arrived at the property around 2 pm. And rang the doorbell and tried calling the listed number and left a voicemail—no response for about 20 mins. So I went round back where there were tables and chairs and the guest parking. The door round back was open and I could see the reception desk. So I stood at the door and called in. The “manager” of the property lurched out

Great B&B. Super host, beautifully presented and tasting breakfast, really comfy bed. Loved the fresh milk in the fridge for your tea/coffee - really nice touch. Think owner has plans for the place, which if the elegant dining room is anything to go by, will only add to the place's appeal. Oh, and it is so handy for town. An easy walk to restaurants/cafés, shops and train station, all taking in the River Ness.

My daughter and I stayed there summer of 2017 (I know I am slow on the review). The host were wonderful people! Very friendly! Very comfortable rooms and DELICIOUS breakfast! Neil asked us every morning what our plans were and he was always willing to give a helpful idea or two. My daughter still talks about the Nessy story Neil told her (she still is a disbeliever). My brother and I will be winning a trip soon and it will definitely include a stay at the Bluebell!
