Tufcot offers high strength/weight ratios, a naturally low coefficient of friction, self-lubrication & significant weight reductions. Founded in 1981 by Elvin Majchrzak and his father Michael, Tufcot has grown from strength to strength on the back of a huge amount of hard work and dedication.

Services
Tufcot was founded in 1981, with the 3 directors; Len, Elvin and Michael, who at that time had a combined experience in the plastics and composite bearings field of over 40 Years. The company has developed, but still retains its family firm characteristics and management style; and today employs over 30 people together with one of the founding directors, who is fully dedicated to the customer.
We have a full range of machining services available: Milling, Turning, Boring, Drilling and Finishing. This ensures that any size, shape and application can be designed and manufactured to the clients exacting standards. All Tufcot composite materials are manufactured on site at our extensive factory in Sheffield, UK.
Quality means a lot of things to different people and can very much depend on the context. To us here at Tufcot, Quality is not simply a word, it's an attitude, an approach that sits at the centre of everything we do. Our ISO 9001 Accreditation ensures that we are consistently working to a high standard of quality and that we are always improving.
At Tufcot we are proactive in operating within eco-friendly policies, processes and products that will minimise impacts on air, land, and water. As a company, Tufcot are very aware of the huge impacts on the environment from manufacturing our materials and products. Therefore, we commit to making a difference by changing how we manufacture and engineer.
Everyday we deliver to customers all over the world. To ensure for the most flexibility for our customers, all of our goods are quoted with Exworks Incoterms. For our UK customers, standard delivery is with our preferred courier TNT. Worked at Tufcot for over 2 years now and can honestly say I’ve never thought of leaving. The staff I work with are all lovely and so are management.
The company look after their staff, from paid for trips out, free sandwich days, fun days to win extra holidays, early finishes or just the fact they listen to your concerns and worries.
I couldn’t ask for a better place to work. Looking forward to progressing in the company.

Worked as a technical intern at Tufcot for 4 months over a university summer and then part time, whilst undertaking a masters at Sheffield University. Couldn't speak highly enough of the company. Friendly and welcoming staff with a real family atmosphere throughout. The company has grown substantially in the time I've been there and it is quite clear it will continue to do so in the coming years. Sad to leave.
