M.J. Saxby is a family run business, specialising in buying and selling used cars and commercials. Our family have been in the motor trade retail business for 40 years. Many of our vehicles are part exchanges from main dealers, which are too old for the forecourt. The majority of our vehicles are sold with a 3 month Warranty, which cover Major Mechanical Faults - 1st month we pay 100% parts and labour, 2nd and 3rd month 50-50.
The vehicles are also sold with an AA History Check, 12 months AA Breakdown cover, an MOT, a pre-delivery vehicle check and a service. All cars are HPI checked and any inspection is welcome. Excellent friendly service, really went the extra mile to help, would highly recommend, absolutely no hassle or pressure to buy.
Would also like to say after I bought my new pride and joy that I mentioned to Mark and Matt that I wasn't happy with the headlight setting, they collected the car from my home and kindly sorted it for me.
Buying from a local family dealer is a new and pleasant experience, can't recommend enough

Bought an old Vauxhall combo van off Matt for a brilliant price, expected faults on the van as it had ware and rare to it already. However I was driving it on the day and found out it needed new brake discs and pads. It’s only a minor fault, so I sent him a message and he handled it very well and was also very understanding. he then sent me over some money for some new brake discs and pads. 👍

Unfortunately this dealership sold me a BMW 06 Reg two years ago which was riddled with problems & I had to take it back whilst I was still covered by the 3 month Warranty. I asked Mark Saxby himself to assure me the engine had no leak & they resolved the problem. My Mechanic said whoever they contract to do their work/repairs is a clown & Mark was obviously aware of the oil leak & engine problem before selling. Very bad considering the price I paid for the car & would advise not to buy from them. Zero stars

Poor service, they help you take out finance but dont explain all of the costs in the agreement, they let you find out yourself once you have signed.
They also do their own work to the vehicles, which is extremely poor. If you buy from these people you will be taking it back to them for repairs while the flimsy warranty agreement is in place.
The AA pointed out their poor workmanship a month after purchasing the vehicle, at the side of the road with the bonnet up
