We believe that design is a collaborative process, where each person makes a valuable contribution in bringing their unique talents and gifts to a project. Koha Architects formed in 2012 following the successful bid for the Old Cathedral School project in Truro, Cornwall.
Founders Gary Wyatt and Derek Jackson share a long history of collaborating on projects through the years together in Sheffield, Barcelona, Manchester and London. We have over 60 years of combined experience in practice across a wide range of building types and various market sectors in Cornwall, the UK generally, and overseas including Spain and New Zealand.

Services
A scheme designed to bring new life and considerable physical and environmental improvements to the site of the former 'Pink Hotel', which has sat derelict for more than a decade. Contemporary, sustainable architecture services in Cornwall, South West England, and beyond. Koha Architects is a Chartered RIBA practice based in Penryn, Cornwall, carrying out projects across the South West region and further afield.
We offer the full range of services as set out by the RIBA, from work stages 0 to 7 respectively and can provide some or all of these services depending on the requirements of a client. We assess sustainability principles that could be employed on any given site prior to the involvement of specialist consultants and as early in the design process as possible.
