Rachels Tavistock Hairdressing

I recently had my hair highlighted and cut. I have curly hair and I have struggled over the years to find a hairdresser/stylist who understands how to cut and style my hair. Rachel had very good advice and knew immediately what to do. What a relief for me, as I have spent a small fortune on bad haircuts over the years!
My highlights look really natural too, which is exactly what I wanted. I have lost count how many times my highlights have turned yellow or brassy after just a few weeks, as I have a warmth to my dark blonde hair, but Rachel knew the best way to highlight my hair. Very happy with

My daughter wanted her hair to be much blonder in colour for prom and Rachel gave her advice so as not to damage her hair and a result that has made my 16 year old beam from ear to ear. The salon is in a beautiful location, peaceful and professional, just so relaxing . Covid recommendations are adhered to.

Today was my second visit to Rachel. Had highlights and a cut and blow dry. love the colour and excellent cut. It's never looked so good.

Super Duper Chuffed with my new barnet skilfully styled and cut by Rachel. An easy to find salon with plenty of parking spaces-also really close to Dartmoor National Park soo you can fit in a lush pre or post haircut walk, run or cold dip in the wild. I highly recommend Rachel, I felt really welcomed and comfortable despite not having my hair cut since 2018. My hair is now slaying the light and fluffy marshmallow curly look rather than a head full of heavy weight bush like of knotty frizz. Thank you so much Rachel! xx

Rang on the off chance I might get an appointment in the next few weeks and was excited to hear there was a cancellation that day. The salon is beautiful and homely and the girls all very welcoming. Went for a restyle and absolutely love it. Good value too. Would recommend and will be going back when I need another cut.

Rachel is the best hairdresser in Tavistock! My hair is very thick, knows it's own mind and needs a good cut. After several trial and errors with other salons, Rachel is the only one who instantly got to grips with it, gave me a great cut and loads of advice about colours. Would recommend her and her team to anyone.

Loved it!! Rachel is wonderful! I went there for the first time and wouldn't go anywhere else now! Rachel knows exactly what to do when it comes to coloring as she is a specialist, and my cut was brilliant! Such a lovely little salon, with a lovely atmosphere and friendly people, would definitely recommend to any of my friends and family, and anyone that's looking for a beautiful new hair-do!!
