Julie has been working alongside all of our dentists. She has over 30 years experience in the dental field, working first as a dental nurse before going to Guy's Dental Hospital where she qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1988. She is passionate about dental hygiene and the importance of preventative dentistry, always striving for the highest level of care for her patients.
At Hindhead Dental Clinic we believe that regular dental health checks play an important part in maintaining good oral health. Our Dental Health Check is a comprehensive check that encompasses examination of your teeth, gums and surrounding tissues to enable your dentist to provide you with an accurate assessment of the health of your mouth.
A dental implant serves as the replacement for the root portion of a missing natural tooth. It is machined from surgical grade titanium alloy to exacting specifications. A dentist places the implant into either the upper or the lower jaw bone. After a period of time, the implant integrates with the bone and becomes a secure anchor for a replacement crown, fixed bridge, a removable partial or a complete denture.
We are still able to effectively remove difficult or impacted teeth, often in the dental surgery, without the need to referral to a hospital. Utilizing techniques and analgesics to minimise discomfort and reduce recover times. Today, oral surgery means so much more. We are able to reposition teeth, perform surgery to remove abcesses and therefore save teeth.

A problem arose and I was asked if I could make it to them in around 1.5hrs, which I made, living around 1/2 hr away from the Clinic. Everyone is extremely welcoming, courteous and one always feels very comfortable and at ease - not an easy achievement considering the 'venue' and anticipated possible procedures involved.

I was referred to Mr Harker by my NHS dentist for possible root canal treatment. The team at HDC were so friendly - receptionist, dental nurse and Mr Harker himself.
The practice has plenty of free parking immediately outside.
In the end I was assured by Mr Harker I didn't need any further treatment which was a very pleasant outcome!

After a particularly awful experience with another local dentist who seemed uninterested in helping me with the immense pain I had been in for 2 weeks, I found these guys. I saw Paul who was nothing short of amazing. He set my mind at rest, was incredibly patient and talked me through absolutely everything. I have always been a nervous dental patient but Paul made the whole thing stress free and easy! Would absolutely recommend this dental practice to anyone.
