Sian at shortlist recruitment contacted me after seeing my CV online. She felt that I was a good fit for a role with a local IT company and submitted my CV to them. After the interview process I was lucky enough to be offered the role in question. At the time I was in an uncertain redundancy situation with my current employer. Utterly, utterly appalling company. Contacted regarding 2 roles, the agent was rude and aggressive, bordering on threatening. My CV was then submitted without affording me a written job description, or the opportunity to investigate the companies I was submitted for. When I subsequently informed the agent that the company was not somewhere I felt was a good fit, the level of defensiveness and tension rose a notch, before finally ending all contact. Avoid at all costs.
