The drivers I have met during the three years I have been using the service are great - polite, professional, friendly, go the extra mile to help. However, what fails them - and fails us, customers, too - is the booking service. I don't like leaving negative reviews but my experience on January, 29th, motivated the review. I was trying to book a cab from an area that at that late hour (9 pm) has no other option, no public transport and the operator started hanging up.When I borrowed a friend's phone, I managed to book a cab through the same operator! It would have saved me time if the operator

My wife booked one of these to take her and our 2 year old son to a hospital appointment. No taxi ever arrived. The driver called and advised that he is waiting somewhere and that my wife with our 2 year old on her hands would have to walk somewhere which she couldn't as also had some luggage making walking impossible. When asked why he never arrived at the called address on the first place the driver explained that he missed the turn and that he wouldn't go back now "so please walk to my car" after insisting tha he should arrive at the called address he hang up the phone and never answered again

RATHER ÜBER!
I have been an Epsom resident for the last 2 years and, until 2 weeks ago, have used Clocktower Cars without incident.
Two recent incidents have highlighted the fact that they do not vet their drivers and they care nothing about following up on these incidents.
Shouting abusively at your fare is not acceptable behaviour for any cab driver! Putting your head in the sand as a cab operator is even worse.
I am a strong advocate of local business, but I've had to draw the line.

Phoned in, the guy who answered tried to charge double the normal fare, when I said that he must be joking he abruptly told me if I didn't like it I could walk, then he started swearing, the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Genuinely a waste of time. Should be shut down.
Any positive reviews are obviously staff or their friends and family posting reviews, they sure aren't being honest.

Used it couple of day ago, booked a cab to go to London Soho,
price was very cheap compare to other firms in Epsom ,
very nice driver , they drop us exactly on time,
but when he drop us after 20 min or so ,my purse was missing , in which i had my iPhone 5 (had it only for less then a month) it wasn't even insured , and i had like £90 in cash and bank cards.
contacted the office at around 11 pm on Saturday night, they were very friendly,they put me on hold and contact the driver straight away, and told me in 5 min that driver is on the way back with the bag and the phone,
very impressive and
