Woodcott is a very small business hand carving a wide choice of wooden signs - either hand made similar to an existing example or to any design you may specify. We offer a custom, personalised signmaking service. All signs are made to order whether its a free standing house sign, a pub sign, a wooden plaque, a house name wooden sign, an event sign or something else.
All the lettering on our wooden house signs and business signs is hand-carved after being drawn out with such modern technology as a pencil and ruler. Arranging celtic lettering, for example, on an oval house sign is still best done by the human being! As a result we are infinitely flexible in what size and style of lettering we can carve and how it is fitted onto the plaque.

What can I say, I absolutely love my sign!! I searched for a few months to find something that would be perfect for my house and for someone to do the job. I picked the finch because it was my Dads favourite bird. So I just want to thank Rob so much for making me the perfect sign, it really means so much to me, it is absolutely beautiful and I know my Dad would love it as much as I do! I have attached a few photos, the attention to detail is stunning, I cannot recommend Rob enough 😊

I had a beautiful sign made by Rob for my partner's business and we were absolutely thrilled with the results.
