Coombe Lodge is now in the caring hands of the PM Hospitality Team, whose reputation has been built on many years of success at Priston Mill. Andrew Carveth had the vision and expertise to implement the changes necessary for moving Coombe Lodge forward by bringing a contemporary feel to the mansion, while retaining its sense of history and grandeur.
As you turn into the long sweeping drive that leads to Coombe Lodge, you know you are somewhere special, somewhere that could be exclusively yours for a wedding or special event. Coombe Lodge, in Somerset, has a combination of grand family home, secluded gardens and breath-taking views.
While retaining the splendour and elegance of its past - including its distinctive limed oak panelling and arched headed French doors - the house has been sensitively transformed into a beautiful, contemporary venue for events, with striking atmospheric lighting and original flooring.

At Coombe Lodge, we have a number of function rooms which are versatile for all manner of events including various stunning locations for wedding blessings or civil ceremonies. The Music Room, which seats up to 160 is a splendid banqueting area for a gala dinner or wedding breakfast. A smaller room, but just as lovely, the Billiard Room, is ideal for more intimate weddings.

Got married here last week and what can I say, it was perfect from start to finish! Martha and the team were all fantastic and ensured everything ran smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble and everything transitioned without a single hitch. The staff were friendly and fantastic and the food was superb! Such a gorgeous venue with plenty of photo opportunities and so light and bright that if your like me, you don't have to do a lot of decorating!

Cannot praise the venue and especially the staff enough. From being allowed to look around the place without any hassle or hard sell to the brilliant housekeeping staff who were so happy to chat to us and let us look in rooms.
On the day of our wedding all the staff just moved so slickly and smoothly around, not just helping but anticipating our needs.
The food was perfect!
If Coombe Lodge is on your list for your wedding then make sure you book it as you cannot go wrong.
I would add a sixth star for the management and the way they took all the stresses away from us and made sure everything

From the moment we stepped foot in Coombe Lodge we knew instantly it was the place we wanted to get married. It is a professional wedding venue and not just a hotel offering an additional service. The attention to detail is amazing. We cannot speak highly enough of all of the staff, the quality of the food and the stunning setting. Special thanks to Tom and Martha who could not do enough for us on the day.

I can honestly say that Coombe Lodge is up there with one of the best venues I have had the pleasure to DJ in.
Firstly, it's absolutely stunning, the venue it self is full of character and is simply beautiful! Not to mention the views are out of this world, you can't help but stop and stare.
Secondly, Martha and her team our second to none. They go out of their way to make sure that I had everything I needed. I was a bit anxious as it was my first gig in over a year due to the pandemic and first time at Coombe Lodge but Martha made me feel right at home. Like we have worked together for years

I have been photographing lots of fantastic weddings at Coombe Lodge over the years and every time I have been impressed with their professionalism. The team would go above and beyond to make your day extra special and stress-free. The things that I love best about shooting weddings at Coombe Lodge is that inside or out come rain or shine this beautiful venue always offers me an endless supply of excellent backdrops!

Came here last Sunday for a 90th celebration and the place was beautiful and the waiters helpful however the food was not up to scratch! A lot of it was cold and undercooked or hard and over cooked! And to make matters worse 3 of us so far have come away ill and myself with serious food poisoning. Also we weren't told about the refillable drinks whilst ordering so kept paying for new ones when could have just returned for free drinks! And another negative one of the starters weren't available yet we weren't told, Just left without a started until we had to go up to the kitchen and

I visited with my friends for a few drinks and chilled lunch. Having been here once before for drinks I knew I loved the setting. We tried the pub side first as there was plenty of seating plus we had the option to sit outside. However due to the small bar menu we opted to sit and order on the restaurant side.
We queued on the restaurant side and waited to be seated. The wait was very lengthy due to a large party in front of us. Sadly at no point did anyone ask us if we had been seen to, so the quality of service was lacking here. We did consider leaving after waiting 15 minutes but as it was

Visited this because it was near a Bed and Breakfast in South Croydon. Location is easily accessible by walking from the Tram station via a brisk walk. The food was a bit pricier than what I would expect, but it was a nice establishment and had plenty of variety. My wife and I each got the 2 course for £12 deal.
The portion-size was good and there were vegetarian options for my wife. Service was frequent despite the busy-ness and our seats being behind a pillar. The interior looks nicely furnished but doesn't demand a suit and tie.

A beautiful manor located in Coombe Lodge, with stunning interior and even more gorgeous gardens to venture out into. Coombe Lodge is a perfect location for any type of event, specifically weddings! With some real beauty and grandeur you can expect a marvellous day. There is a B&B located within this manor and this is a really tranquil place to stay!
