Services
Andrew Lethbridge Associates is an award-winning South Devon architect's studio, specialising in domestic and residential projects. Andrew Lethbridge first established his CIAT registered architectural design practice in 2000, after working in both private practice and local authority architects' departments.
Let us help you to bring your dream home to life with a full range of architects' services from initial sketch design through to on-site inspection and contract administration. We offer a wide range of architects' services based on the RIBA Plan of Work, which will suit construction projects of all sizes and procurement routes.
Developing a client's brief is the first stage in any project, whether it's a modest extension or a large-scale residential development. Proper brief development is the key to a smooth design process and successful project. The brief development and sketch design process will vary from project to project and client to client, but always evolves as a discussion about aspirations, aesthetic preferences and how people will occupy the space.
We undertake feasibility studies and master planning exercises for larger residential and commercial projects. These studies explore the development potential of a site by analysing its constraints and opportunities. Master planning exercises can be useful in several ways. In some cases, they will form the basis of detailed design work for immediate progression towards a planning application.
You may need to apply to the Local Authority for planning permission if the work you wish to carry out falls outside of permitted development. We can advise on whether your project will require a planning application. If it does, we can also confirm whether you will need to appoint any other consultants to support the application.
