Established in 1974, Bootham Removals & Storage Limited is one of the leading removal companies in York, Yorkshire & the North East with a comprehensive fleet of vehicles, a purpose built containerized warehouse storage facilities and most importantly, highly skilled and experienced B.A.R (British association of removal) Trained staff.
At Bootham Removals we offer highly secure container storage. Each container is equipped with wrapping materials and will hold 250 cubic feet. The container has its own number; when the container reaches its capacity an inventory is made of all the contents, which you will receive a copy of. The container is then sealed and stored in our warehouse.
Moving pianos is a specialist task, Bootham Removals HAVE years of experience in their removal from an ordinary upright up to a full concert grand. As you would expect from a professional movers, we use specialist trucks, slippers and dollys for piano moving - Also purpose made padded covers for extra protection.

We had a complex move of unfamiliar, sensitive, lab equipment and your two movers were fantastic moving the heavy, awkward, equipment carefully, considerately and professionally between the two departments and into their new positions so that they're ready for use by our scientists.

We would thoroughly recommend Bootham Removals which did an excellent job in moving us from Yorkshire to Suffolk. The team of guys were really great, very organised and worked swiftly but carefully and they were also very helpful and supportive to us at a stressful time! They were good to work with and willingly took account of our requirements or questions and it felt like a team effort. Everything was well organised when we arrived at the next house and they worked very hard to get everything in the right places.
The only weak point was that the office phone was down nor did it have an answerphone

Like another review here, sounding interested until you end up chasing a quote for weeks with no reply, only to to be told it will will sent on Friday, several Fridays came and went and nothing
If you don't want the job or its too much or you are too busy, Just say, Don't mislead customers
They may be great for the simple jobs as the reviews seem to show, But seems anymore more complex is not for them but they don't want to tell you that

This is really unfortunate that we cannot rate 0 star ! Had them coming for a survey and spent the last 10 days chasing a quote. Had them today on the phone and Matthew lied saying that he said last week to my partner that he could not do the job. Too bad for you, I was next to my partner when he called you 2 days ago and you lied to him saying the quote was on his way.
