Electrical testing of fixed installations (fixed wire testing as it is often referred to). The electrical installation condition report is a report on the electrical wiring of a property outlining any defects it may have that may prove to be a safety hazard. Our fully qualified electrical engineers inspect and test these services in accordance with the legal requirements of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and BS7671:2008 (AMD NO1 2011).
Thermal imaging is one of the most valuable diagnostic tools for predictive maintenance. By detecting anomalies often invisible to the naked eye, thermography allows us to identify problems before they happen. Using the latest FLIR technology Elec cert's specialist thermographic engineers will carry out a survey while all equipment or services are 'under load' or being used without the need to shut down services and with minimal disruption.
Elec Cert Ltd can provide a full Inspection and servicing program for your fire alarm system. All fire systems must be regularly tested and maintenance is essential because it will prolong the life of a system and discover any faults that may occur. A system that is not maintained cannot be guaranteed to protect life and property.
The purpose of emergency lighting testing is to ensure that emergency lights remain fully functional (for the specified duration) during mains electrical failure and that all lighting and exit signs are up to date with current legislation and are adequate for the purpose intended.

BS5266 recommends that emergency lighting systems be regularly serviced by 'competant' persons, these being persons with the necessary knowledge, skills and training to undertake emergency lighting servicing procedures.

Excellent service. The office arranged for the job to be done within a matter of days, confirmed by e-mail immediately and called me a couple if days before to say exactly when I could expect the engineer. He turned up on time and did a grear job. He left things cleaner than when he arrive. Would definately use them again and recommend them anyone looking for electrical work
