Great job, thank you! I ordered 5 BF Goodrich A/Ts. The garage advised me when they had arrived and were ready to fit them as soon as I turned up. The price included balancing / disposal / valves and fitting and was better than any other fitter in the area. Really impressed with the service and would happily recommend Long & Small.

I split paint in the boot of my car and it had seeped down into my spare tyre. I thought the boot was unsalvageable but they managed to clean all the paint up off the tyre and the carpet, can't even tell they're was a 2.5 litre paint spillage. Definitely recommend.

I had an accident with cooking oil spilling over my interior car mat and carpet. When I contacted Paul to see if he could help me he said he could help me straight away. I left my car with him within half a hour of spilling the oil. Cleaning of the carpets had been done to a high standard, he had cleaned all the oil spill from my car with no problem whatsoever. When I collected my car you couldn’t even tell that I’d had disaster with cookingoil a few hours earlier.

I was given the option of test driving the two cars I was interested in. They arranged an option to finance one of the cars for me, which was supplied by a trusted Cumbrian finance company, with good loan conditions and competitive rates.
Always polite and nice, with good customer service manners. Very happy with the car and dealing with them. I really recommend Long & Small as a second hand car dealer.
PS: so much good to the planet being done by companies like this by keeping used cars up to date, therefore reducing waste and saving the energy involved in manufacturing new cars.

Had a screw in my van tyre, I stopped into long and small's to book it in to get repaired, but they did it right there and then, great service, great experience, fully recommended.

Could not be more happier with this garage I was out in the sticks and had 2 flat tyres it was around 4.30 or 5 pm I called round for help but with no joy then I rang here with no hesitation they came and recovered me and replaced my tyres if it was not for these guys I would have been left to try figure something out but glad I rang no fuss no issue just pure help thanks a lot guys keep up the good work I would highly recommend this garage deffo worth a try

Great MOT service, perhaps a bit too enthusiastic with the advisory marks though. Didn't need the advisory saying something had been repaired. I repaired it.
Other than that more than happy to oblige. Will definitely be back next MOT round

Car in today for M.O.T . It failed on a few small jobs what i was going to do myself
.cv boot needed re attatched +new clips
.new bulb
.tyre was fitted wrong way around
.Heat shield was toutching exsaust
.Horn not working
. Tow bar light's bracket broken and needed re attatched
After being explained to what i needed to do to repair car ( Thank u ) I done all the jobs quickly and lucky for me he did the re test same day .

We had a first class experience at this garage. We had a tyre blow and came across this garage on a bank holiday. The garage was shut but an incredibly helpful man can out of garage and asked if he could help. He changed our tyre for our spare. He did all this work and pumped it up and would not accept payment. We are very grateful.

For many years I have always bought gas bottles for my camper vans and motor-homes from Long and Small. Fair enough they are a little more expensive than the Calor Depot in Workington, but I think that it is important to support local businesses. While I was there last week spending nearly £40 on gas I asked if I could top up my water tank from the garage tap. I was told that this was not allowed. Next time I need gas I will go to the Calor Depot. If small businesses are to survive and prosper then they really need to improve their customer service.
