We are an award-winning and bold architecture and engineering firm with strong roots in Sunderland. We are a Royal Institute of British Architects Chartered Practice and have a large team of RIBA and Architects Registration Board accredited architects. We have extensive experience throughout our specialist sectors, leading projects from conception to completion. The architectural side of BDN began with the design and construction of a three bedroom detached Dutch style bungalow situated on Birchfield Road in Thornhill, Sunderland.
We are passionate about the built environment and strive to be involved in projects for the long haul and to build lasting relationships with clients. We have vast experience working on all forms of residential projects from new-build housing schemes to renovation/conversions of existing buildings for residential use.
Our commercial projects are highly varied, from small, bespoke retail units in the heart of Durham, to huge warehouses and industrial facilities of well-known companies. I recommend this architect's practice to deliver your brief and exceed your expectations. We have worked with them on a beautiful, new extension and also on a smaller project for internal renovation to the old house. They are friendly, reliable and a pleasure to work with, taking the stress out of the rules and regulations of the planning and building process.
