Services
The St Ives Printing and Publishing Company was established by John and Virginia Carver in 1951 for the express purpose of purchasing one of two local newspapers then published in St Ives, The St Ives Times. The purchase of the town's other newspaper, The Western Echo in 1957 led to the merger that created today's newspaper The St Ives Times & Echo.
St Ives in West Cornwall is unique. A strong willed, democratic and independent minded community, internationally renowned as a centre of artistic and creative excellence, St Ives is one of the very few towns in the British Isles still able to demand and sustain its own independent, local newspaper.
Our range of commercial printing services is extensive: from basic business cards to full colour case bound coffee table books. As a printing company, established decades before the Internet was invented our business has thrived on personal contact with our customers and word of mouth recommendation.
We publish our own titles as well as design and print for other publishing companies and self-publishers.
