Allens are Mid-Ulster's longest established independent firm of Estate Agents, Auctioneers and Land Agents, with the company being founded in 1913 by the late Joseph Allen OBE. The company is now in its fourth term of management under the direction of new-found proprietor, Philip Bryans, a long serving employee with over forty years experience in the business.
It is now a legal requirement for tenant's deposits to be recorded through a registered Tenants Deposit Scheme. Allens are members of Tenancy Deposit Scheme NI and includes this service in our introduction scheme. As a landlord, the first thing you must decide before letting out a property is how much you are expecting to earn for the rental.
Valuations give you an estimate of how much your house should be worth based upon a number of different factors, meaning that you have a good idea of what price to begin at when you put your property on the market. If you would like a valuation on your property please do not hesitate to contact our office.
Philip Bryans has 40 years experience in dealing with land sales and letting. He is in day to day contact with farmers, has a sound understanding of BPS (Basic Payment Scheme Entitlements). With many years experience in auctioneering we can also offer on farm clearance sales of machinery and livestock.
If you are selling or renting out your property, either privately or through an agent, you must have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) for that property. The EPC must be produced by an accredited energy assessor, which we can arrange at very competitive rates. The EPC details of a property will be included on all advertising materials such as brochures or on the website.
