Nearly all wedding dresses will need some alteration, as a size 12 dress may not fit a size 12 person in every way. Some brides are sold wedding dresses without being given any advice on which style best suits their figure, or guidance on what alterations may be required. Liz did an excellent job in altering my dress. Due to Covid 'lockdowns' and not being able to access shops etc I brought a sample dress from Ivory and Co in Nov 2020 for our wedding in March 2021, which due to more lockdowns moved to August. As soon as lockdown rules were reduced I visited Liz to have the dress altered, she was brilliant - being able to alter the bodice so it fitted me again, the length, taking some of the train out so the dress suited out outdoor venue, she even put tiny little poppers on the dress to attach the jacket. I'd whole heartedly recommend her! Thank you Liz!

Not only did she find me my perfect dress but she tailored and altered it to perfection, unpicking invisible thread to adjust my dress so that it fits perfectly and looks as though it was made just for me. I couldn't be happier with Liz and her work! She knew exactly what I wanted from our first consultation and worked closely with me all through to ensure the fit was correct in every detail. She has been wonderful throughout lockdown keeping me up to date with progress when requested and very professional throughout! Liz designed and made me the most beautiful dress for my wedding that I could have wished for - stunning, beautiful and gorgeous were among the comments I have received about it. I couldn't have been happier. From the outset Liz made suggestions of what would and wouldn't work well, took time, care and patience over creating the final dress. I was recommended to Liz by a friend who’d had a bespoke dress made for her daughters’ wedding. I came to Liz full of ideas for an elegant full length dress and Liz was brilliant, took all my ideas, and sketched me a dress which looked perfect. Elizabeth works in conjunction with a bridal supplier and my first appointment with her was at the suppliers to choose a dress. Her knowledge and help were invaluable - she was honest about what suited me best and enabled me to see clearly what design of dress to choose. Once my dress was delivered I visited the studio at her home and once again her attention to detail meant that I came away happy that the minor changes that needed to be made to my dress would be carried out with care and attention.
