Not to be confused with the year end accounts, a confirmation statement is submitted to Companies House each year confirming that the data that is currently held by them is correct. Every limited company has to send a confirmation statement to Companies House each year. This is an official form, stating that the information that Companies House holds on the company, is correct.

Running a payroll is time consuming as well as complicated, especially with all of the new legislation that HMRC implement each year. Every year, the tax, national insurance and pension arrangements for employees are subject to changes from HMRC or from the budget. As a small or medium sized business, you are now obliged to supply HMRC with real time payroll information, incorporating these changes.
