Astrum Accountants are looking for an accountant to join their growing team. To be considered for this role, you will either be qualified to AAT level 3 or 4 with a minimum of 2 years practice experience. Excellent inter-personnel skills, initiative, ability to multi-task and a commitment to high standards of service are essential to succeed in this role which involves managing a client portfolio.
The Background: XYZ had been using Sage since the business started in 2001. The finance director was comfortable with it and his small team were accustomed to several workarounds so weren't keen to change. The Sage limitations were being tolerated but an array of spreadsheets were needed to produce basic management information.

There are lots of accountancy firms that we could have chosen from to work with however there was a distinct difference in the approach and service level that was offered by Astrum Stellar Accountants which made it an easy choice and we decided to work with them.

Starting my own business was full of many uncertainties and I am extremely thankful for Vincent Ventures help. Martin has been handling our farm accounts for many years. Along with preparing our annual accounts he also completes our monthly VAT return and self-assessment. He always has excellent communication, being fast and efficient in answering any questions whether by phone or email. Martin is very knowledgeable and has good understanding of our business needs. Martin is a fantastic communicator and manages his work extremely efficiently. He always makes himself available to chat on occasion even well outside of regular office hours.
