Our 10-Year Build-Zone Structural Warranty product will protect your completed home against a defect in the design, workmanship or materials. Self-build Site Insurance is essential for anyone planning an extension, renovation, conversion or new build. A contract is the glue that seals the relationship between a client and their contractor, consultant or supplier and is crucial for your project.
Building or creating a home, either from scratch or as a conversion or renovation project can be one of the most rewarding challenges of your life. The type of project you are embarking on will invariably involve a significant amount of investment, so ensuring you have the correct level of cover in place is essential.

Site Insurance is necessary to protect your investment when you're carrying out a renovation, conversion, extension or new build. The policies cover the new work, existing structure and rest of the site. It protects against the likes of losses, fire, theft, flood, storm damage, vandalism and accidental damage.
A conversion project is a major undertaking which involves works on a structure which might be in a very poor condition. Our conversion insurance has been designed to take this into consideration so whether it's derelict barn conversion insurance you need or a conversion project for a disused chapel - we can help.
Relying on home insurance or your builder's public liability policy when carrying out an extension is most definitely NOT a good idea. The very nature of an extension project involves your home so most people assume that their home insurance and the builder's public liability cover is sufficient - which simply is not the case.
Our new build insurance policy is designed for those people building their own homes either independently, via a custom build model with an enabling developer or as part of a community-led development, irrespective of their actual physical level of involvement. We believe you should have the best possible new build insurance solution for your project, which is why our products have inbuilt flexibility and realistic levels of cover.

We have just completed the self build of a detached 4 bed house. From start to finish Self-Build zone have been excellent. A phone call away for any advice and help. From insurance of the site to 10yr guarantee of the build they can do it. Self build can be very stressful, but with this company behind us, we were confident that we were properly covered.
