Their customer service is shocking. A new boiler installed just over a year ago, pipes unravelling and causing a bad leak yet they only want to come out at their hourly rate (see other reviews and their replies) as parts only guaranteed for one year! How about substandard and faulty work done in the first place? No doubt there will be a trite reply from them on this review. My advice - steer clear!

I thought I had san issue with my hot water but after speaking to an extremely helpful engineer who happened to be in the office he diagnosed the issue meaning there was no immediate need for a plumber. This is outstanding service and I will be using JC when the part eventually needs replacing. You can’t beat honest advice. Well done JC.

Excellent, fast and efficient service!
Our boiler had been on the blink over the winter, and today it finally decided to refuse us hot water. Suspecting a faulty diverter valve, we immediate Googled plumbers close by and came across JC Gas, we gave them a call at 11am and within 4 hours they had someone over to fix the boiler.
It only took 1 hour for their engineer to diagnose the issue and replace the valve, this included time where the engineer waited just to make sure the problem had been resolved.
We now have hot water (YAY!) and are very happy with the service provided. They were very friendly

J C Gas does not appear to understand about the meaning of Customer Service.
I had our boiler serviced by them for a number of years, but when I rang them to seek their advice in relighting the pilot light, they gave me inadequate advice and were very quick to inform me that I needed an engineer at a cost £76 per hour call out. However when the engineer arrived all he did was to light the pilot light.
I wrote and complained that I thought the original advice I had been given was inadequate, and had I been given proper advice, I could have easily lit the pilot and avoided the call out charge
