Founded in 2012, JE Bennett Law is a successful and expanding business that retains it's family ownership and values. The founder Jane Bennett has over 20 years' experience as a private client lawyer, specialising in the law regarding vulnerable clients for the last 15 of those years. Prior to founding JE Bennett Law, Jane was a partner at two law firms in the City of London.
Jane is passionate about helping the vulnerable and made the decision to start her own practice to have the freedom to focus on just that. Specifically, she wanted to run a firm which could concentrate on the needs of the client, and have the freedom to grow that practice without the burden of expensive overheads.

JEB Law have been very helpful in assisting my application to the Court of Protection to become a deputy to enable me legally to manage my Mothers' Property & Finance. Which took about 6 months got to whoa. There was a significant cost in this...but I can only imagine the obstacles if I had tackled this process solo. Well worth the investment in time & money. Can I add that I initially worked with Lorna, then Jane. Also Diane who constantly kept me appraised of the situation over the duration of the COP process.
Addendum: August 2021.
Also dealt with Amy regarding Estate management, all of this

I have been working with Lorna Halfpenny-Beeby at J E Bennett L:aw to raise Deputyships for my sister and I so that we can assist my mother who has Alzheimer's and has been moved to a care home as she is incapable of looking after herself.
This has taken a long period of time with various issues being raised b the Court of Protection and Lorna and her colleagues have been superb with their help and advice and the speediness of dealing with issues raised by by court. Cannot praise them enough.

I have had many years of experience of working with Jane Bennett and all these positive reviews do not relate to the extremely poor mismanagement I have received from Jane Bennett.
Jane Bennett, as a professional deputy, paid in error money from funds she is legally responsible for, and when this money was honestly returned, the person was asked by Jane Bennett to not tell the the family that were being supported by Jane Bennett!

Sought the assistance of J E Bennett Law when seeking a Deputy Application, followed by a Second Trustee Application. The, advice service and support I received throughout was exceptionally impressive, leaving me reassured and confident that all was being done to expedite the applications and bring the matters to a timely and successful conclusion. No question or concern was too small for my solicitor Lorna who was always considerate and genuinely supportive. I would highly recommend J E Bennett Solicitors, especially Lorna. I will be looking to use their services again in the future..
