Located within and forming part of the boundary of Scotland First National Park, the Old Smiddy Cottage is built over Ballagan burn which runs down to meet the waters of Loch Lomond We also have an Apartment which is attached to the original Blacksmiths House offers an ideal base to enjoy Loch Lomond and the surrounding area.

Both charming premises are equipped to the highest standards with beautiful tartan carpets, the Cottage having Black Watch and the Apartment having the Lindsay tartan. Both Cottage and Apartment have gas central heating and double glazing and share a private patio where guests can relax and enjoy the magnificent scenery beside Ballagan burn along with the wild ducks.

The Apartment has been newly refurbished and forms part of the original blacksmiths house and retains many of its features to this day. It has a lounge, double bedroom with ensuite, single bedroom, fully fitted kitchen and shower/toilet room. The comfortable lounge is fitted with a unique Lyndsay tartan carpet, three piece suite and has an Smart TV with virgin cable for your entertainment and dvd player.
Loch Lomond Shores is a principal gateway to Scotland's first National Park. It is Scotland's most spectacular visitor destination combining the beautiful environment with an outstanding mixture of leisure and shopping experiences overlooking the majesty of Loch Lomond at Balloch.
