Welcome to APRS based in Bredbury near Stockport, a family run business established for some 40 years. We have a vast knowledge of motor vehicles and all our technicians are trained to NVQ or City & Guilds level. We specialise in vehicle diagnostics, petrol, diesel, LPG, or hybrid, and aim to quickly diagnose and repair vehicle faults.
We carry the latest diagnostic equipment at dealer level and beyond to diagnose your problem on engine management, ABS (braking and traction systems), Airbags, Body control units, all other electronic systems. We also provide a full key cutting and programming service for lost, misplaced, or stolen keys, including the removal of the facility for stolen keys to still operate your vehicle.

Services
APRS was first established in 1980 by John Newby as Auto Plant Repair Services Ltd and was based in Levenshulme, Manchester. At that time we were servicing plant equipment as well as cars. As time progressed the servicing of plant equipment became less and we focussed our efforts mainly on vehicle maintenance and repair even becoming one of the first agents for Sun Automotive tuning, a forerunner to the now widely known Crypton tuning.

We have many years experience with many types of air conditioning systems, we also offer a mobile service. Gas leaks naturally from all systems at 10 - 15% per annum. If left untreated, fuel economy can be affected. As a result of less gas in the system, the compressor has to work harder. This is inefficient and lower gas levels can increase the likelihood of component failure.

Booked in to have some faults cleared but was told they only had a Friday slot available, because I was working I asked my brother to take it for me as I was told it could be done while my brother waits, on arrival he was told there was no booking which was a waste of both mine and his time. my brother phone me to see if I wanted to see if he could get another booking from them but witnessed one of the mechanics hand break turn a customers car into the garage to his amazement.
I have no doubt that the owner will reply How they been doing business for 30+ years and how responsible they are, but

I had trouble with my ECU / DPF filter pressure system on my 2007 kia sportage APRS have the skills and Software to diagnos the problem after new parts and ECU reset paul and john were Determined to sort it Very Good Knowledge and Experience i will go back again for any problems well recomend 👍👍👍 G Kenyon

I had my timing belt changed by this garage thinking it was local friendly and decently priced.
Little did I know they were going to damage my radiator and try cover it up with a sealant!!!
Water had been leaking for weeks Untill one day i checked the coolant tank and it was bone dry. I filled it back up and the same happened the next day.
My car has not been touched by anyone else and was working perfectly before this 'work' had taken place.
For £260+ you'd expect the work to have been done to a high standard.
I had my bother contact them as we all know women can be fobbed off when it comes

Found this garage very helpfully and had the correct diagnostic equipment to diagnose my vehicle correctly been to dealers and other garages they had not been able to cure this fault Aprs did also seen these working for other garages in the area. Makes me think they do all the diagnosis price not a issue when you got this type of fault
