We suggest booking in minimum blocks of 2 hours to get the best learner driving experience from each lesson and so that we are able to quickly identify the best way to teach you long before it's time to book your driving test. We provide driving lessons in Oakham, Uppingham, Stamford, Melton Mowbray and Market Harborough with our driving instructors based locally to these towns we can offer driving lessons over a wide area.

JUST Driver Training Driving Instructors use the client centred learning approach when giving driving lessons, here's why. People learn to drive in different ways and at different speeds. If someone likes time to reflect on their learner driver experience each lesson but is forced to move on to the next thing too quickly it can slow down their overall progress.
Services
Without a doubt the most important thing that any driver trainer can achieve is positive feedback from the people they train and a growing reputation within the areas that they work within. Association membership and awards provide you with a greater level of confidence that JUST Driver Training are the right choice for your driver training.
As professional and progressive driver trainers JUST Driver Training operate in accordance with the DVSA voluntary code of practice to continue to develop their skills and knowledge as part of their Continual Professional Development. Continual Professional Development is an important part of being a driving instructor.
Be 17 years old (16 years if you receive the higher rate of the mobility component of Disability Living Allowance). Be able to read a new style number plate from 20 metres away, or an old style number plate from 20.5 metres (with glasses or contact lenses if you need them, as long as you always wear them when you're driving).
The test is the same for both manual and automatic cars. However, remember that if you pass your test in an automatic you're unable to drive a manual (unless you go on to take a manual test), but if you pass in a manual you're also qualified to drive an automatic. You need to be able to read a number plate from a distance of 20 metres, for vehicles with a new-style number plate, OR 20.5 metres for vehicles with an old-style number plate.
At its simplest, this means we listen to you to find out how you like to learn best, the things that are getting in the way of your progress and how we can help. People learn to drive in different ways and at different speeds. If someone who likes time to reflect on their learning is forced to move on to the next thing too quickly it can slow down their progress.
