Alternatively, we can agree a fee for representing you either in respect of a particular stage of a case or for the case in its entirety. In many cases legal protection insurance or legal expenses insurance is available either as standard or as a bolt on to existing insurance policies that many individuals or businesses hold.

A voluntary interview takes place when a police officer invites a suspect to a police station in order to interview them in relation to an alleged offence. Suspects do not have to attend the interview but there is a risk of being arrested if they do not attend without good reason.

I used Olliers for a huge ‘firearms’ case for my son. Matt Corn represented him for just short of a year & took it to trial (in which my son got acquitted). Although there were some issues with allocated solicitors changing, I had such a good experience with a trainee solicitor Hannah. She was attentive and kept us well informed throughout. Hannah took away a lot of the stress with her ongoing support and commitment to my son and gave me confidence that we would get a good outcome. Can't praise Olliers (Nathalie Potter and Ruth Peters) enough. They patiently went through a mountain of information and located the relevant evidence that would help our case. Responses to our numerous questions were answered promptly and clearly. Even working at weekends and after "normal" hours to ensure that our case was submitted to DBS in good time. Alex quickly grasped the situation faced by our autistic son and brought a wealth of experience and skill in her appraisal.
