So far, I have received very poor service from Brown solicitors during the process of buying my property. No response to emails for weeks, steps take forever to take and generally not responsive and treat customers with a little bit of carelessness.
I just received a very "angry" call from Sandra in Browns now giving me a hard time about the review! Not listening to what I'm saying, repeating answer machine answers .. and referring to my review as inaccurate!
She also kept asking me if I wanted to close my file with them, almost as a threat to delay my purchase further and have me wait another

We were given a quotation for a fixed price on commercial conveyancing. This price was stuck to at the end of the transaction. When we needed to speak with our Solicitor, she was always available or called back within the day or next morning if later in the day.
At all times, responses were swift, proved accurate and enabled us to move forward in the given direction as needed.
Our Staff members that dealt with us the most were:
Solicitor Ayesha Begum
PA - Emily Saunders
Full marks and thank you for them for their help to get things done in a challenging transaction.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
Despite a poor service from the vendors solicitor, leading to a very protracted purchase, Ayesha Begum and her team at Browns Solicitors, were professional, timely and always available for discussion. Patience is clearly a strong point. Good value. Overall an excellent service. Thank you very much. Highly recommended

Treated very poorly
I would certainly not recommend this firm for conveyancing, or anything else for that matter, if you are looking to receive a polite, professional, halfway decent service. I rarely spoke to the same person twice and if I did, it was either someone very young and uncertain sounding, or the world's most defensive woman.
We received inaccurate quotes, an incredibly slow and uncommunicative service, no information about the steps of the whole process and at the end, when our sale fell through, no help at all. In fact just a surly response when I rang up to get any kind of update
