Services
Qdex was set up in 2002 as a partial buyout from an existing label company. Since then we have rapidly expanded our client base within both the private and public sectors. Our customers range from large blue chip companies through to the 'one man band' micro businesses. The vast majority of our customers are in the SME sector.
Digitally printed labels on rolls are fast becoming the most popular method of print. Labels can be printed up to full colour on paper or synthetic materials, then varnished or overlaminated. Metallic looks can also be created. There are no artwork or plate charges and multiple designs can be run very economically.
The creation of barcodes and other variable data can be daunting when looked at for the first time. However, we can assist you should you want to print barcodes yourself or have us produce them on your behalf. Using our own thermal label printers we can print sharp high resolution images on to a variety of paper and synthetic substrates.
We are able to supply chemical labels for a variety of applications. They are generally supplied on rolls or sheets and can be printed by ourselves before variable data is then added by the customer. Short runs of chemical labels are not a problem. Our hazard labels on sheets are usually supplied in A4 format with the labels die cut on the sheet.
These are great for use as product labels, when a 'no label' look is required. This particularly applies to transparent bottles of liquid, allowing the product to be clearly seen through the label. In the case of sheets we supply clear polyester laser labels in a wide variety of sizes and formats. These can either be supplied plain for you to print on your laser printer, or pre-printed.

I originally dealt with Carolyn who was an absolute dream to work with but then she took a few days off and I was dealing with Julian who has the manners of dog, first he said he was going to call me back in 5 minute because as he said "I'm snowed under here Carl, let me get back to you"...6 hours later he left a voicemail. I calls him the following dyad he did the EXACT same thing, when I questioned was I not as important as the client who was on the phone he asked me to take my business somewhere else..which I did! Why on earth won't businesses realise that not only is the
