Roadrunner Tyres is a family owned motor mechanic and tyre specialist business with two sites in Romford, Essex. We have been operating at sites in Harolds Wood and Colliers Row for over 30 years - building a local reputation for value for money and unrivalled service in the process. The business was started by Tony Hawkes in 1977 and is now run by his son Barry and grandson Daniel.

First and last time I take my car to Collier Row Tyres/Road Runner for an MOT. It took them 3 hours to do a prebooked MOT and then they said the lights were out of alignment so it had failed. Asked them to do them and it took another 1 hour. I wouldn't mind but my car is 5 years old and I have done less than 1500 miles since last MOT

Took my car here after having the traction control light come on on the M25, dropped it off at 10am, the mechanic called me around 4 1/2 hours later to tell me there was something wrong with the steering, my front wheel was buckled and I needed my wheels aligned. He told me I needed a new steering module. My uncle is a mechanic and advised I don’t have a steering module on my car as it’s hydraulic. They quoted me an estimate of £600 to fix. I called back in the morning to confirm the diagnostic codes and what the steering problem was, they then changed this to the steering angle sensor. My

Very helpful, staff was kind and mechanic Alex that did my alignment was polite.
Got to watch it be done from the waiting room window they accommodated for my lowered car by using ramp extentions.
Cost was £32, cheaper than Kwik fit they wanted £50 just to do the fronts wheels and same price as Halfords but said I had to leave it and come back the next day.
The total time took about 30-45 min, Very happy will be back.

They try to tell you you require work that is completely unecessary. If it wasnt for a mechanic friend they woudl have charged me nearly £600 for a new catalytic converter that was not necesary.
They doctored our emission test reults. When i proved this to them they denied any wrong doing and suggested that i had actually repaired the car before taking it back to them! ludicrous..! I have better things to do than chase a £35 refund!
Believe me this is an absolute genuine review - DO NOT use this company!
