Services
We describe our range of architectural services in stages from briefing and feasibility through to practical completion and post-occupation appraisal. We also complete feasibility studies and pre-Planning negotiations with the Local Authorities in order to explore the viability of your project before deciding if our full services are appropriate for you or your plans.
New homes together with extensions and refurbishments form the backbone of our work. We work hand-in-hand with our domestic clients to understand the fundamental aspirations for their projects and propose schemes which deliver over and above expectations. We delight in providing warm, light spaces to unlock spatial combinations which perform environmentally as well as functionally.
A pair of extensions on a pair of semi-detached 1930s houses in Heavitree, we were commissioned to extend no. 17 and when the owners bought the adjacent property for their family, to extend that too. The construction took place under one contract, and although the design-brief for the two parts were different, sharing common detailing and roof profiles brought efficiency and elegance.
Since 2017 we have been involved with St Peter's Malawi Education Trust, an Exeter-based charity striving to improve opportunities for education in a village in central Malawi. St Peter's School in Exeter have built a long-standing relationship with the community in Mtunthama and from that has evolved plans to help re-build their dilapidated and cramped primary school in Chimbiya.
