Vehicles can lose air con refrigerant gas (R134a) over time, especially if they aren't used regularly, which means that they may not work as well as they should. This is why car manufacturers recommend your air-con system is recharged with gas and lubricant every 2 years.

I have been there a few times, normally ok but today (21 Sep. 2021) there is a new stuff, the guy was much more interested of his mobile and cigarette then the only customer standing there, looking at all of that and waiting, everything soooo slow, tools, gun, my nuts and everything was all over the garage. Don't get me wrong, I'm an electritian, I work with my hands too, I don't mind the cigarette, mobile a little mess but complete ignorance of the customer's time it was too much.
I went to Southall tyres (the best ever) but they were busy of course, so I went to this garage. Empty of course

Didnt like the service. Tried to charge more than what was quoted on this visit but when questioned they said it was added on guarantee cost which i never asked for - trying to rip off - if you do the works you should be sure of it why add on to a bill without letting the customer know. Also, was given the cost for the job (which was at the top end of the market) and was explained that the specific work will take 45 mins to 1 hour - but it took no more than 4 mins for them to have a look but still charged full price, took the car elsewhere the same day and was shown/demonstrated/explained wìth

The single best garage experience I have ever had. Thank you to Ian and Chris for being attentive, knowledgable, professional and efficient. I went to have my wheels fully aligned after new shocks and tie rods had been fitted to my E60 BMW. I have had this work performed elsewhere in the past but never, ever, with this level of interaction and to such a confidence boosting standard. The car was correctly weighted in front seats , rear seats and boot before the procedure. The Hunter analysis was accurately described and the solution defined . At my request they also checked the front wheel balancing

So it's ungodly early on a Monday morning and I'm on my way to work, having left the gym, when all of a sudden one of my rear tyres explodes. As if I didn't have enough reasons to hate Mondays already!
So Beast limps to the tyre shop around the corner, which of course is still closed and doesn't open for another hour! After calling all of their contact numbers they kindly agree to send someone from their other garage and help a brother out.
Of course with my luck I needed specialist tyres, two after all instead of just the one, which they would have to order in especially

Definitely shop around if looking for new tyres as the prices quoted by this garage is more than double compared to someone like kwik fit. Seriously miffed when I discovered I had purchased a rear brand new tyre for £160 when kwik fit and practically every place online were selling it for £90. Nice chaps but avoid unless you feel like getting ripped off.
