Every business has a statutory obligation to produce accounts annually for the relevant authorities, typically HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) and Companies House. One of the key objectives in accounts preparation is to identify areas where we can assist in minimising your tax liability. Another key objective is to ensure that the accounts are compliant with all the statutory regulations.
Crawford Accountants was founded by Bill Crawford in 1974. The firm is based in the village of Denmead, a rural location with good access to Portsmouth, Fareham, Havant, Chichester and Southampton.
Whilst the firm has grown significantly over the intervening years, and now acts for owner-managed enterprises of all sizes, much importance is placed on the strong links the firm maintains with small, local businesses, many of which are long-standing clients.Crawford Accountants is a Sage registered user, and can provide advice and assistance in respect of accounts, tax, VAT, payroll, bookkeeping, incorporation and many other services.

Richard joined Edward Leask Chartered Accountants straight from college in 1977. He was involved in all areas of general practice during his training, including accounts, tax and audit. In 1985 Richard joined Crawford Accountants, becoming a partner in 1988 and subsequently a director in 2008 when the firm was incorporated.
