Firstly let me say that the food was absolutely lovely but when asked if there was any other option other than the Christmas menu we were shown a lite bite menu. Totally admitting to tell us that there was a special board. We duly ordered and enjoyed our meal. That being said at paying £29.95 per person for the Christmas menu I would have expected an after dinner mint and/or a concessional mini mince pie but no. I also would have expected a Christmas cracker to be on the table and not expected to pay an extra 50p. Admittedly niggly things but felt as if they let the whole experience down.

I would give 2.5....We stayed 2 nights in September, the setting for this hotel is beautiful, fields all around, very quiet, big car park...the staff are also brilliant, very polite, friendly and give a good service... The rooms are a bit dated and not amazing, the mattress we had was awful which didnt make for a good nights sleep, springs galore!....unfortunately i think our main gripe is the food prices, breakfast was a sausage, bacon, egg, tomato, hash brown and an egg cup full of baked beans - we were not offered cereals or fruit... At £11.95 a head it was poor (very nice just not good value

We visited for a recent Sunday Lunch, the meal was good quality, and nicely presented, in pleasant surroundings.
I gave three stars as I was disappointed in two areas, this was very slow service, and quite expensive prices for food and drinks.
The service may have been slow due to a wedding reception taking place at the same time.
And high prices may be why there were not many in for Sunday Lunch ..
Not quite back up to the pre Covid Service, but quality and choice was good.

Staff accommodating evening meal good but breakfast not very satisfactory - 1 cup of coffee no cereals. Room not clean - thick dust under bedroom radiator and dead insect on tiled shelf in bathroom plus more dust on the back of bathroom door. Stained and shabby looking furniture in bedroom. Bar area - settee very shabby looking. This was a mini break away for our anniversary so found this experience very disappointing.

We had our wedding here back in July 2021 and it was such a perfect day. As we were still in the midst of Covid, Anoop and the team did everything to make our day as amazing as possible and it really was. The setting, the food, the suppliers, the rooms were all brilliant. Anyone looking for a spacious venue, with great attention to detail, I would highly recommend. The staff were so helpful and everything ran smoothly on the day. We will definitely be heading back soon! Thank you again for everything

My wife and I got married nearby to here the day before, and so we thought it would be nice to have a champagne breakfast with some close family the day after.
Initially, we were very impressed, as we were greeted warmly and offered coffees whilst we waited for our additional guests.
Once we were seated everything went well, with our waiter taking our cooked breakfast and tea/coffee order.
After this we were confused, as the menu stated that other food would be part of the service (fruit salad, granola, hot pastries etc.).
After waiting for 10 minutes we thought that maybe it was a buffet, so went

The Royal Arms is a charming Restaurant & Hotel in a small village on the Leicestershire/Warwickshire border. It is very close to Boswoth Battlefield and Mallory Park.
It has been wonderfully done over and extended and is a lovely place to go for food and drink.
They have a lovely olde traditional feel to the place with wooden beams and roaring fireplaces.
There is an extensive menu to choose from and always alot of choice on the specials board, but it is a restaurant so has restaurant prices! The food itself though is great and worth every penny.
