Services
M Bickerton Car Sales was started by Mick Bickerton in 1982. We sell low mileage used Vauxhall and Ford vehicles which have had just one or two owners. Mick plays an active role in the business, and is solely responsible for selecting and buying the vehicles from suppliers around the country. As a further safeguard each car receives its 12 month MOT from an independent garage, and comes with a written warranty.
We offer all types of servicing from oil & filter changes through to full service backed with excellent quality work for a cost effective price that presents good value. Using the latest computerised diagnostics equipment we can diagnose almost any issue quickly and easily. All servicing is performed by our fully trained mechanics.

I purchased an automatic Ford Fiesta Zetec from M Bickerton Car Sales just over a month ago. With it being the first car that I'd bought, I was unsure what to expect after hearing stories about many car salesmen and dealerships, but I had absolutely no reason to worry in this case.
Mick was kind, personal, meticulous and knowledgeable - he gave me the full history of the car and was willing to answer any questions that I had. He allowed me to take my time in looking round the car and test-driving it without any pressure to get a true feel for the vehicle. I never felt like I was just another number

Mick runs this simple family business, and deal with merely Ford and Vauxhall. He and an experienced technician to do services work and check all details according my requirement before payment (MOT, Full Service, Track re-calibration, Tyre pressure re-check, door pinch refasten ).
Pro: Prices listed without inflation; Cars are with fair good quality; good maintenance and service work; easy to talk and quite flexible for arrangements

Really happy with the Ford Focus we bought a few months ago - it was handed over in very clean condition, brand new MOT & service and no problems since. What I liked was there was no pressure to buy - very laid back and an experienced person selling unlike other big commercial car places. I wanted to support a local business and will recommend Bickertons to friends. I agree with a previous comment - the only downsides are the lack of choice of cars at times and no snazzy showroom / reception area. Nothing that I was bothered about though and loved seeing the cars being worked on at the workshop
