On-line shop orders can be placed before 3pm Wednesday each week for collection from the Caf that Friday (10am-2pm) - please see 'On-line Shop'. Come and visit us! Alongside our catering kitchen, we also have a cafe - Mrs B's Kitchen Cafe - you can come and eat our food and watch us as we cook! We sell a simple weekday breakfast, light lunches and afternoon teas to eat in or takeaway, as well as fabulous coffee and a great atmosphere.
There is a Pay and Display car park just beside the cafe. It costs 2 for the whole day, so it can get very busy. If you arrive early, you may get lucky, and at lunchtimes there is usually some 'movement', so you might get lucky! Alternatively you can park in Camp Hopson, Parkway or Library car parks and walk along the canal - approx 3 minute walk.

Really disappointed and it has not been the first time.
Ordered a gf sausage roll, croissant with cheese and ham and a can of coke. £9.40? I asked for it to be heated and it was still cold when it arrived.
Gf sausage roll was disappointing - greasy pastry and cut like cloth, croissant tasted better but as I said it was still cold.
I know gf pastry is hard to make, because I used to make it myself. I now use gf just roll sheets.
Learnt my lesson, I will walk further next time for my lunch.
It's a shame as it is opposite 2 places I support.

This café is located in a rather commercial and industrial-looking area. One of the warehouse-type buildings was the home to this café. Parking was extremely limited, so we had to park on a street just a little bit away.
It was nice and roomy in the inside, with comfortable seats. Lots of greens everywhere making this large, open space to be more homey and welcoming.
They offer a simple weekday breakfast, weekend brunches, light lunches and afternoon teas. The display all looked very appetizing. They also have a selection of coffee, tea, and other beverages. We got a Cappuccino and Flat White

Popped in for lunch on Sunday for something different and had what they called an Omni box which was a mixture of chicken, salad leaves, kale, cooked rice, the crispest chicken skin I’ve ever had and a couple of other little bits. Probably pretty healthy in terms of ingredients and very tasty so it hit the spot. I followed this with a bit of cheese cake and a latte both of which were exceptional.
Interior is very nice inside with relaxing music think it was like jazz, you wouldn’t think it was an industrial estate unit, even sitting outside was pleasant.
Well worth another visit especially

Brand new addition to the Newbury independent scene. This space is stunning - beautifully designed and thought out. It's open plan, with the addition of a function room and working space upstairs. The coffee is outstanding - they have a choice of milk including coconut, it was served strong and very hot. I did not eat on this occasion, but the place was full and everyone seemed to clear their plates! I will be back!

Mrs B's Kitchen Cafe is an absolute Must visit. The best selection of salads, quiches and freshly cooked delights. Cakes always fab and the coffee is great. All tastes catered for. Today fresh from the oven Salmon Quiche with Roast peppers & miso aubergines with chickpeas and mixed leaves. Lovely relaxed atmosphere all provided by a great team. The best I can say about this cozy cafe is that it is the best place to enjoy a healthy but very tasty meal, indulge in a baked-in-store piece of cake and try the tea.
It's like being welcomed to our Nan's house, where the smell of yummy food is always present and there's someone cooking for you.
All staff (not old enough to be a Nan, by the way) are superb, welcoming and so friendly!
Prices are quite reasonable and in line with the quality of the food and the coffee is very tasty. The ethos of the cafe seems to be uphold easily by the staff, with fresh produce, organic ingredients and, when
