Icelantic was born in 2000 with the ambition of offering professional IT support and consultancy services to small and medium sized business, at a price that made small business sense, combined with a service that felt personal and relevant to small business needs.

We wanted to address the needs of small businesses who can't justify the expense of supporting and managing a large IT staff but who still require reliable, secure, high-performance information systems, without compromising on quality or service.Icelantic has grown year-on-year since those early days, bringing our early clients along with us.
Technology is only half the equation when it comes to IT. Putting the system together correctly is vital to ensure you get the best return on investment and to make sure staff can use the systems to their fullest potential. We offer a full range of services, from initial advice on purchases through to full system installation and integration.
Our Projects Delivery Team is a mutli-disciplined team that handles projects from pre-sales, scoping, client project management through to on-site delivery and hand-holding. Projects handled by the team include server migrations (both to virtual and full cloud environments), migration of on-premise email to Microsoft's Office365 platform, office moves, network and infrastructure upgrades and general hardware refresh projects.
The Technical Services Team is a 3rd line team of on-site and mobile engineers that deal with a mix of scheduled hardware and software installations, as well as on-site trouble shooting for more major or demanding support tickets. They also deal with developing client relationships by a series of regular housekeeping visits in order to ensure any non-urgent issues are addressed, as well as being available for general advice.
The support team is headed up by Richard, who provides focus and direction for our team of 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support engineers and ensure that tickets are completed with our agreed service level targets, and that clients are kept up to date with progress of support tickets. The support team assesses each ticket, then assigns the necessary resource based on skill set, urgency, complexity and client needs.
