In 2018, My IT Guy became a private limited company, and grew to the next level, providing managed IT services. The future is looking very bright! Robin is a trained professional (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Microsoft Certified Professional) and a tech enthusiast who has been working in IT since 1998, originally in a large, corporate environment, and later supporting professionals and small businesses with their IT needs.
Having your email and company data 'in the cloud' allows for automatic synchronisation of email, contacts, calendars and files across any number of devices. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with staff in real time from anywhere in the world! Each account is provided with a generous 50GB of email storage (more can be added) and 1TB of file storage, plus another 1TB of shared company data.
Part of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams is a collaboration app that helps your company stay organised and have conversations - all in one place. Think of it as a central hub for group chats, file sharing and video conferencing, for colleagues within your company and outside the organisation.

This is such a great addition to our line-up! Currently, you probably have an email signature set up in Outlook, which usually works well enough. Unfortunately, you can't get that same signature on your phone or tablet, as they don't allow rich text or logos. If you need to change part of the signature for the company, someone must manually edit it in Outlook on every single computer, one at a time.

I had an appointment booked in at 10:30 today for My IT guy to come and assist us with IT issues. I received a call at 10:54 to say that "after reviewing our requirements it has been decided that we are not a good fit" . One of my team had come in on his birthday today. Why didn't we receive a call before 25 minutes after the appointment? I explained that I felt that it was highly unprofessional... I am a busy man was the response. Awful service.

I couldn’t recommend MY IT GUY enough. We needed a complete over-haul of our IT system and Robin took control of the whole process from start to finish. It was seamless! He pointed us in the right direction with hardware and set us up with office 365 accounts that sync to our phones. Any small issues have been resolved remotely with speed. Since having MY IT GUY on-board it has lifted a weight off my mind knowing that any of the company’s IT problems will be solved. Also, Robin is a really nice guy too which helps.

Robin Whiting has assisted us with our home computing on two occasions. I found him to be personable, extremely knowledgeable and able to navigate around numerous problems and find a solution in a very thorough and patient way. He was prepared to solve even the smallest problem calmly and effectively. He also found ways of making our email and other systems more efficient and easier to use by integrating our computer with our i-phones and i-pad. Nothing is too much trouble.
