Elegantly situated in the heart of Hoylake, Market Street, Mother India Kitchen has become one of the most popular curry houses specialising in South Indian and Indian dishes.

Tried meals and also group bookings with staff and some professional educational meetings. Every time we were well looked after and had authentic, delicious food. Sebastin puts his heart into cooking. All staff work hard to make your evening special. Well done team, keep it up! 5 star! Variety flavour vegetarian excellence
exceptional courtesy especially going out of their way to help a disabled gentleman incapacitated by sharing a normal life amongst his friends
then noticing his predicament working a family team to ensure he got safely home
at all times saving his dignity noticing his sorrow and sustained apology
deeply impressed by the kindness shown both to this gentleman and our family meal

The best quality Indian meals eating in since west london. The chef adapted the menu producing an excellent chicken balti peshawari on request Very attentive service with incisive suggestions from experienced staff steering 8 diners with a collective 320 years of favourite indian restaurants It’s a small place so book ahead. parking is a hunt round the side roads but well worth the effort. previous drop in visits have been consistent with meal quality

Good restaurant and good sitting. Service is a bit slow sometimes. Parking is paid mostly but some off street parking is free whole day and some close by street parking is free after 6pm so check. Staff is friendly and food quality is very good

Terrible staff and service, average to poor food. Arrived at 7:30 as a table of 6 and before we'd even had a chance to all sit down we were asked for our drink order. Felt rushed but we ordered everything before 8pm. Starters arrived in about 30-40mins. Asked for 4 plain and 3 spicy poppadoms but were given the opposite. The lime pickle was mostly salt. Onion bhaji starter was greasy but not too bad. Masala dosa was ok but it was double layered dosa so not authentic.
We then waited over 90 mins further for our mains. We had asked for the eta on our mains on a few occasions and weren't really told

There were so many food options to choose from and everything we ordered was absolutely amazing and great quality. The staff were very helpful and friendly and all of the prices were very reasonable. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone !

Had a fabulous vegetarian banquet yesterday at Mother India! We booked for the special set menu and it was really fun with really intersting food! Just wish we had photographed it. So many different flavours and mouthwatering meals. Give it a go for next year, true authentic south Indian food, prepared and cooked by those who know best. Delicious!

We ordered a variety of takeaway dishes from this restaurant using the online service. Staff were very welcoming and attentive when I picked the order up. The food was OK, but not earth-shattering. The tandoori marinated items could all have done with a further 12 hours in the marinade; an impression I get from most Indian takeaways these days. The main courses didn't seem very well balanced and a bit shallow in terms of depth of flavour. I'd say that this establishment is on par with other Indian food outlets in Hoylake, but more agreeable restaurants are available a little further afield; I'm

We ordered a takeaway from Mother India tonight on the recommendation of my son. We had Lamb Biryani,Chicken Jalfrezi and King Prawn as a starter. Everything was fresh and delicious. Definitely will be a loyal customer now.

Best Indian takeaway I’ve ever had. The lamb pasanda was so tasty, meat melted in the mouth - big portions too. Lovely friendly staff. Just moved to the area and I’m chuffed to find a favourite place so quickly!

We’ve just had an amazing curry from here. My 6 month old daughter (who i am feeding) can’t tolerate dairy so they made my favourite dish pasanda with vegetables and finished off with coconut cream instead of dairy cream so i could have it! Great service as always!

As Indian restaurants go this was ok, though it did lack any atmosphere. The food was pleasant and tasteful, though I don't think it was anything special. That said as a local restaurant it was ok.
