Architectural Interiors, created by Lynne Cranston in 1995, is not fabrics and wallpapers. It's about design. Design of spaces and places, fixtures and fittings. If you want to extend or alter your home in some way, you may need to apply for planning permission. Certain works are termed "permitted developments" more so if the property is a house rather than a flat.
It is always prudent to get written clarification from the Planning Department that your planned development is termed permitted before proceeding- saves time if it is and problems if it's not. If Permission is required a set of drawings detailing the development - size location, use, materials etc must be submitted for approval.

After graduating in Architecture, and a year working for Robshaw Richmond Architects in London, Lynne then spent a further two years working in a design/interiors gallery in Edinburgh. Lynne started building up a client base throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians (occasionally venturing to Fife, Perthshire and Glasgow) as Architectural Interiors.
