Joseph Anthony Thurnhill a Partner and Solicitor qualified in 1974 after being articled to his brother John in the family firm. In spite of gaining a Distinction in Criminal Law, Tony throughout his time as a student and Partner has been involved mainly with private client work associated with conveyancing, leases, Wills and probate, continuing the close relationship with clients already created by his father and brother.
Thurnhills offer a full range of services in connection with residential properties including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers. Thurnhills can advise on Wills including Nil Rate Band Wills and the formation and administration of Trusts. We can also assist Executors with the obtaining of Probate and Administration of Estates.
These costs apply where your claim is in relation to an unpaid invoice which is not disputed and enforcement action is not needed. If the other party disputes your claim at any point, we will discuss any further work required and provide you with revised advice about costs if necessary, which could be on a fixed fee (e.g. if a one off letter is required), or an hourly rate if more extensive work is needed.

My experience of Thurnhills (residential purchase of a flat, sale and purchase of a flat and house, and sale of a house) has been positive on all three occasions.
buying & selling a home is always stressful. On one occasion where my wife and I instructed Thurnhills, unfortunately things didn’t go quite to plan: the buyer pulled out at the last minute, due to a change in circumstances! This is one the worst experiences and Thurnhills had the difficult job of breaking the news. They were very empathetic about the situation. At a stage where we might otherwise have just taken the house off the

I wouldn't trust this company to keep me out of jail in Monopoly! never mind use them for a simple deeds change... which i made the mistake of doing. now in the 7th week of a '4 week process', i have just been told to 'find another solicitor' by the receptionist. A family run business ran with a cavalier attitude! AVOID!
