I'm an award winning documentary wedding photographer based in London and I've been on this adventure for nearly ten years; travelling all over the world to capture amazing stories in beautiful locations. I'm the wedding photographer people come to when they would rather spend their wedding day with their friends and family than spending hours posing for pictures.
Who want the sort of pictures that will evoke love, memories and laughter. Who spend more time thinking about how to put on the greatest party to celebrate their friends and family than finding the exact shade of bridesmaid ribbons. Not that I don't like attention to detail - I love photographing beautiful flowers and majestic venues - it's just that I like the people more - and that's the story I want to tell.

Documentary wedding photography, or photojournalistic wedding photography are phrases that have become really popular in the last few years within the wedding industry as there has become a desire to move away from a more traditional approach to wedding photography. I'm sure you've seen your parents wedding album which included maybe 10-20 stiff and formally posed photographs?
I'm a useful source of knowledge for all those wedmin questions - in fact I've written a few blog posts on wedding tips and planning your timeline - which comes from having photographed nearly 250 weddings. Trust me - I know what works and what will make your day smooth and the party swing. I describe my style as documentary wedding photography - which means I have a hands off approach on the day.
One of my favourite things to do when visiting my parents or grandparents homes is to sift through the drawers, boxes and albums of images of myself as a kid, family holidays, ancestors that I never met. It was a connection to my past and brought my family great pleasure to point out relatives and holiday spots that I couldn't remember.
My preference is to blend in with your guests and the background in order to capture the most vivid and naturalistic photographs I can. I describe my style as a mix of 90% documentary and 10% portrait. This means that if you hate having your photograph taken then I am your perfect photographer! I'm looking to capture you and your guests in the most emotive and storytelling way which means minimal posing.
Most of my bridal couples are quick to tell me how much they hate having their photo taken so it's a great opportunity to spend some time with your wedding photographer for an engagement shoot ahead of your wedding to get some pictures that you can use on your wedding website, save the date cards or invitations or of course to share on Instagram.
