The Bridge and Bayleaf Indian restaurant, set in the rural village of Gunthorpe, Nottingham, on the banks of the River Trent, offers a truly unique dining experience. Situated at the site of the original Gunthorpe Toll Bridge the toll cottage was built in 1875 and has been lovingly restored to provide beautiful idyllic surroundings.

We are proud to say all our dishes are cooked with healthy hearts in mind, using less oil and fat, the best quality 'gold standard' meat and fish, and only the freshest ingredients. Whether you try our seafood specialities; the tangy Chilli Fish or Garlic Chilli Salmon, tender lamb dishes; our classic Lamb Karahi or succulent Lamb Tikka you can be sure to find something new and exciting on our menu.
The beautiful Bridge and Bayleaf is available to hire for small functions, catering for a minimum of 20 people, to large celebrations catering up to 200. With a flexible approach to our events we are always happy to discuss your event requirements with you, and will endeavour to meet your needs whenever possible.
