Ashworth Parkes Architects Ltd is a multiple award winning, RIBA chartered architectural practice based in Cambridge UK. It was founded in 2008 when the two directors, Emma Parkes and Jeremy Ashworth built their own home in central Cambridge, acting as both client and architect. This gave them invaluable experience from a client's perspective and has contributed greatly to the success of the practice.
Our core market is residential design work for both individual clients or developers. We offer design services from feasibility to on-site supervision and completion for a wide range of building types. We specialise in bespoke, exciting, innovative and sustainable designs. Within this scope, we also advise on interior finishes and bespoke furniture.

Services
Gwydir Street is located just off Mill road, within walking / cycling distance from the railway station. Gwydir Street Short Stay car park is directly opposite the office, whilst there is plenty of space to lock bicycles immediately outside. To access our office, walk into Dale's Brewery Yard (first left) and we are the first door on the left.

We had an unusual experience. Jeremy came to view our detached property in central Cambridge and discussed our house extension with my wife and I for about one and half hours. He seemed like a really a nice person and we liked his work and he said he would mail a quote shortly. After not receiving the quote we left a series of telephone messages with his very pleasant staff and two emails. The last communication was an email asking him to let us know if he did not wish to do the work to please let us know so that we could then ask another architect and they could provide costs instead. Not wishing

Jeremy and his team designed our new house in Caldecote, helped us through a complex planning process, assisted in the sourcing of a main contractor and then assisted throughout the build phase. We cannot speak highly enough of Ashworth Parkes - most importantly, we have a completely wonderful finished product, the 'forever' home that we wanted. It is built to a very high quality, a function of the detail and thought that Jeremy put into every detail, coupled with the excellent relationship he maintained with our main contractor. Emma and Jeremy did a fantastic design for our terraced house in central Cambridge - they have transformed it! They designed a space that is really comfortable to live in with a contemporary and modern feel. Everyone who visits it is amazed at the design and how well it works. They were super to work with - thoughtful, friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend them enough!
