Our jewellers John Flegg and Irene Orr have years of experience designing, making, and teaching jewellery, worldwide. Scottish craft jewellery, bespoke designs and precious metals combined with gemstones and vitreous enamel are a speciality. In store you will find a big selection of jewellery from our signature collections, handmade in silver and gold with vitreous glass enamelling details.
We also show the work of other invited independent designers, local and international. We also make pieces to order; from wedding and engagement rings to transforming old jewellery into new. We create bespoke pieces. Alchemia specialises in working with precious metals, gemstones and enamel, and we love to create bespoke pieces to your specifications. We design in store here in St Andrews, and the pieces are handcrafted in our Fife based workshop, so each piece is locally produced. You can find a big range of our own jewellery in store.
