Great for your classic over lagered Brit with a limited palate - which is great just not for me. Completely understands its target market - Wokingham. Also food arrived half hour early which is not convenient. Never seen a butter chicken look like it's had marcapone/coconut cream mixed through it. The lettuce and tomato in a plastic bag summed up the quality. Overall, Is have rather had toast.

I wanted to put 2.5 stars
We had a bad experience last time, as it took 90 min to get our starter and another 40 min more for our main course to arrive.
What wasn't nice, is that nobody was at least coming to see us to ask us if we wanted a drink and something else while waiting.
The food is good, the nans were freshly baked which made the experience less bad.
It was an unfortunate day I guess.

I've visited Baranda twice and both times have been amazing. The hospitality and attentiveness of the staff is unmatched and the food is divine. Their selection of food is fantastic, with a menu that caters to any and all people.
My one and only complaint would be that the Onion bhaji leave a bit to be desired. they're fairly thin, not very crunchy and lack flavour. They strike me as frozen down and reheated. However, the rest of their food for me has been amazing: to start with Poppadoms here is also a must. Their selection of dips/Sauces alongside these are great and there is a plentiful amount

Definitely one of the better curry houses we've visited & my fave in Wokingham. We tend to go medium with one main & hot with the other. They sell bottled Doom Bar which is a bonus! Oh yes, it has Air Con! Can seat couples to large groups & the poppadoms & pickles are usually fresh, unlike some places

I have been in Wokingham area on business with few colleagues. One of the nights we ventured into the place for dinner. Here is my take.
Pros:
- Food is not expensive. The rating should be more like ££.
- Better than average environment in comparison to other places around
- Very courteous staff
- Last but not the least, we were offered a drink on the house to finish off our dinner.
Cons:
- Food is hit and miss. Out of three dishes we ordered only one turned (Keema) out to be better than average.
- Though the sign mentions Bangladeshi food, it was more like North Indian food. Probably the

Haven't been for over a year best described as being OK but nothing more than that.
They have entertainment there every Wednesday IIRC an Elvis lookalike! If it floats your boat
Have been back a few times in 2011 food better so goes from 2 to 3 stars
Back in 2012 seems to be improving so up to 4 stars. Cheaper than average for Sunday buffets, excellent value plus good quality whenever you go.

I'm reviewing their Sunday buffet here. I've not eaten here on a regular night for years (back when it had a different name). That meal years ago was less than inspiring and I never thought I'd return.
But last Sunday, my regular Indian Sunday buffet was full (twice the price, but always gorgeous, so we weren't surprised it was full as we were late).
We headed into Wokingham and were turned away by one Indian restaurant as they were about to close. And so, we found ourselves stepping into Baranda.
It's cheap. The sign outside tells you it's cheap. £5.95 for
